Mrs. Sawatzky is an internationally recognized speaker, keynote conference presenter, and influential figure specializing in fatigue risk management, stress management, and psychological health and safety in the workplace. Securing the prestigious title of Top Industrial Training Services Provider in Canada for 2023, the Founder and President of In-Scope Solutions, Mrs. Sawatzky leads an award-winning team. Her expertise has been showcased at various conferences and high-profile organizations, including the American Society of Safety Professionals, the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, the Direct Delivery Leadership Council, the Global Conference on Fatigue Management, and even the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Mrs. Sawatzky was involved in creating fatigue policy and guidelines for the Canadian Oil and Gas industry as the previous manager of their fatigue portfolio. Susan is an instructor with the University of Alberta, the University of New Brunswick, and the University of Calgary, instructing numerous courses in their various OHS Programs.

Dr. I. David Daniels is an occupational health and safety professional, thought leader, former public safety executive, and President/CEO of ID2 Solutions, LLC. He is also the host of the Psych Health and Safety USA podcast. Dr. Daniels served two terms as a member of the National Safety Council Board of Directors and was the founding chair of the NSC’s Government & Public-Sector Division. He received NSC’s highest honor, the Distinguished Service to Safety Award. He also chairs the National Association of Black Compliance and Risk Management Professionals Safety and Security Workgroup.
Dr. Daniels is a life member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs and served over 30 years in fire/rescue, emergency medical and emergency management organizations in three states. His career focus on safety was a primary reason he was inducted into the National Fire Heritage Center’s Hall of Legacies, Legends and Leaders Class of 2021, the first living African American to have received this honor.

He is the Co-Chair and Principal at the Institute for Safer Trucking, a non profit focused on education and collaboration to reduce truck crashes. He is also co-founder of the Safe Operating Speed Alliance, whose mission is to address the speeding epidemic

He is also co-founder of the Safe Operating Speed Alliance, whose mission is to address the speeding epidemic in the United Sates. Mr. Lannen has served on several federal advisory boards on a range of transportation issues, and has worked with a variety of stakeholders while earning a reputation as a trusted source on truck safety solutions. Mr. Lannen has a B.A. in Economics from William and Mary, and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He has experience in management, consulting, and is a successful entrepreneur.
